UToledo-Led Project Aims to Improve Readiness of Military Medical Personnel

Technology under development at The University of Toledo could soon help U.S. military medical personnel better prepare for treating battlefield injuries and operating in high-stress, remote environments. Biomojo® is proud to collaborate with UToledo, Virginia Tech, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and military personnel from Brooke Army Medical Center and the U.S. Air Force's 59th Medical Wing at Joint Base San Antonio on this project.

Biomojo® Presents TRIAGE Project at MHSRS

Biomojo® presented its TRIAGE (Trauma Resiliency Immersive Adaptive Gaming Environment) project at the Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS). The project, funded by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC), focuses on developing advanced training capabilities that combine stress modulation with immersive simulation technologies to enhance medical care providers' performance through systematic stress inoculation and skills development.

To Prevent Veteran Suicide, Triangle Firm Creating Extended Reality Therapeutics

Biomojo® has advanced as one of 30 finalists in Mission Daybreak, a VA startup accelerator program focused on developing new suicide prevention strategies for veterans. The company received $250,000 in grant funding to develop evidence-based, clinically-evaluated extended reality digital therapeutics. Selected from over 1,300 applicants, Biomojo® created an immersive and interactive experiential reality-based scenario using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support veterans living and working in prison.
