Project Overview
Endorsement for virtual reality with adolescents hospitalized for suicide-related crises. PI: Marisa E. Marraccini, PhD, Assoc. Professor, School of Education, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Biomojo® was subcontracted to work on this project across several task orders. A virtual reality intervention that can be used to supplement standard inpatient treatment of individuals hospitalized for suicide-related crises (K23 MH122775; PI Marraccini).

Implementation
Scenarios for practicing skills are meant to mimic daily stressors. For example, individuals can:
- Practice using calming strategies during interactions with supervisors, family members, or peers
- Engage in cognitive restructuring when conversing with people in crisis
- Build resilience through repeated exposure to common stressful situations
